The mobility period shall start on 1 September 2015 and end on 31 March 2015 for a total duration of 7 months (213 days).
The municipality of Tramatza aims to create the best possible environment for achieving a satisfactory non-formal learning process, in line with the requirements of EVS chart. It attaches great importance to find a good match between the volunteer profile and the activities to be performed The volunteers of the National Civil Service will have an important role in facilitating the integration of European volunteers and the implementation of activities within the EVS and in fostering the integration process with the local community as a whole. The activities of the volunteers are summarized as follows:
WITH ELDERLY: will support the elderly with companionship and conversation, accompanying them to the doctor, purchasing drugs; do the shopping, etc.
WITH CHILDREN: volunteers will give their collaboration in supporting children with homeworks/outdoor activities/plays
EVENTS Volunteers will be involved in the organization of public events at the library such as guided tours for school groups, meetings with writers for their new books presentation, reading competition, photography exhibitions, literary meetings, etc. Each volunteer will hold courses on the language and culture of their country open to the population.
LANGUAGE AND CULTURE COURSES TO THE POPULATION
Responsibilities of the coordinating organisation: Budget responsibility: Formulation and submission of grant application, formulation and submission of activity agreements, overall budgetary management of project (liaison with sending organisation on sending activity costs, liaison with host projects on host activity costs and to ensure prompt payment of volunteer allowances) The Co-ordinating Organisation insure grant payment of all partner costs. Recruitment, Support and Training: recruitment procedure, vaccination advice, travel advice, integration into local community, design and provision of training (on-arrival, mid-term and final) in cooperation with the Italian NA, regular project visits, mentoring, mediation, crisis management, arranging language support, evaluation/reports and support for volunteers and host project supervisors, and supporting volunteers in any follow-up activity resulting from the project. Responsibilities of the hosting organisation: Responsible for providing an activity plan as well as safe working and living conditions to the volunteer throughout the project activities. Provide personal supervision (mentor) and work-related support and/or training to enable full integration into the project. Provide accommodation and food (or food money). Responsibilities of the sending organisation: Responsible for preparation, support and monitoring of the volunteer before, during and after the EVS activities, arrange insurance of volunteer, assist volunteer with international travel arrangements, visa/vaccination requirements (if required), provide co-ordinating organisation with receipts of costs, liaison with NA on pre-departure training (if any).
The participant shall carry out an online assessment of linguistic competences before and at the end of the mobility period before the departure as well. I am going to send you info about it soon.

For the selection of the volunteers we will need:
– Europass CV with picture (made in the last month)
– Motivational letter, writing that your sending organisation will be “Building Bridges”. We ask all candidates to send a specific letter of motivation – why they want to volunteer with us rather than just a general EVS one.
Remember to write in the motivation letter that your sending institution is “Asociación Building Bridges”.
