We are currently looking for 1 volunteer to work in kindergartens – organisations we coordinate. Volunteers will be placed in Private english kindergarten Slniecko in city Tvrdošín (5 km from Trstená)
Volunteers will work there from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Volunteers will be assistents to the teachers, they will help them with preparation of activities and programme for kids, with teaching of english, taking care of them, going outside with kids, everything will be needed.
From time to time volunteers will help our coordinating organisation to prepare some activities and mainly with promotion of EVS in different events and in the schools among the students. Each volunteer will be responsible for his/her own miniproject and for preparation and presentation of his/her country.
We are looking for 1 volunteer for 5 months: April/May 2018 – August/September 2018

It will follow the rules of Erasmus+.
Volunteers will live together in one flat or house – is everything needed there, wifi connection as well.
During the working days food (lunches) for volunteers will be provided in kindergarten, during weekends they can go to the restaurant or cook for themselves. Volunteers will get pocket money as well as money for their food every month to their own bank account in the begginning of each month.
All travel costs connected with the project are covered.
Volunteers will work 5 days a week/35 hours in total. Sometimes also weekends are needed.

– Slovak lessons 3x per week first 2 months, then 2x per week

We don`t have any specific requirements – we are looking for young people who are ready to learn new things, who are open to new challenges and to new possibilities, who are open and friendly and like working with kids. Experience with working with children and young people is welcomed. Also at least a communicative level of English is needed.

We will study carefully all application and selected candidates will be invite for Skype interview. The selection of volunteers will take place inmediately.
For the selection of the volunteers we will need:
– Europass CV with picture (made in the last month)
– Motivational letter, writing that your sending organisation will be “Building Bridges”. We ask all candidates to send a specific letter of motivation – why they want to volunteer with us rather than just a general EVS one.
Remember to write in the motivation letter that your sending institution is “Asociación Building Bridges”.
