Project 1 – EBEN-EZER
Community residential facility
and social therapeutic workshop

Term project
1st September 2019– 31st August 2020

Place: Horní Žukov

Challenges
The main challenge is communication with people with mental disabilities and that most workers do not know a foreign language. Be prepared for the first few weeks you will have to communicate with your foot and hands. Mainly you will work with one or small group of users individually.

Activities
Your task will be to work with users in the workshops and support or assist them during work in therapeutic workshops. You can work with different materials – ceramics, paper, cloth or wood. This will help you learn the different work techniques with the material. Sometimes there will be the opportunity to teach users to work on a PC or to organize work in social therapeutic workshops. You will accompany users during afternoon activities and leisure time activities, including sport and cultural activities and events, trips, and travels, participate in preparing various meetings, events, and celebrations. You will participate in teaching the users (memory games) and supporting them during the practice of new skills (work, daily activities, etc.) You will participate in activities of both, service provided by Eben- Ezer social therapeutic workshops and community residential facility. There will be an opportunity to plan, prepare and realize activities and do your own mini-project.

Your profile
It is a good point for you if you are creative nature. Practical experiences with people with disabilities will be helpful. We would
like a person with ideas what they want to do and which they could offer in a group of mentally disabled people.

Project 2 – BENJAMÍN
Day care centre

Term project
1st September 2019– 31st August 2020

Place: Krnov

Activities
Your main task will be to provide individual and personal support to people using Benjamín services. You will support and assist them during practical activities like pottery and textile workshops, gardening, art workshop, sport activities (Boccia). You will accompany them during experiential therapies such as basal stimulation, canine therapy, therapy with horses and others. You will take part in activities outside placement (trips, walks, various events). You will also accompany andassist users during activities necessary for everyday life, such as basic education,development of motor skills, memory training, care of one’s own body and appearance. You will cooperate with social workers and workers in social services.  There will be an opportunity to make your own mini-project.

Your profile
The volunteer should have a little knowledge of the mental disability, or at least be comfortable with the fact that people with mental disabilities are part of the society – then they will be better able to work in this situation. It would be nice to have creative, extroverted and empathetic volunteer. Empathy is needy to overcome the language barrier – this is important. We will be also happy to have a responsible volunteer. It is hard and unpleasant to
work with a demotivated volunteer who often gets sick.

 

Project 3

Term project
1st September 2019– 31st August 2020

Place: Bohumín

 

Activities
You will be involved in numerous acitivities organized by our centre such as the language club where you can give conversation classes to children as well as general public. The community has also a theatre club „Mraveneček“ where you can participate. During the summer time we organize a Fulhaus camp with workshops, canoeing trip and other activities. And regarding life of the centre during the week, you will prepare the programme for the kids which will visit us after school (cooking classes, presentation on various topics, prepare posters, etc.). The idea is to give you a chance to show your creativity and enthusiasm to work with young people. Often during the events, you will be asked to take photos, shoot videos and prepare refreshments. Many activities are in a group, so you can learn new skills of group leading and presentation. It’s a crucial to have a positive attitude towards sports in general as sporting activities form an integral part of the centre’s life.

Your profile
In our team we need to have a responsible and honest person who has a good relationship with the target group in our centre. If you have experience with young people and children, this is definitely an advantage. To make your service as useful as possible it is important to be proactive and open to learn a new things (for example Czech language). You also need to be patient, empathic and respectful.

 

Project 4

Term project
1st September 2019 – 31st August 2020

Place: Ostrava

Activities

Your task will be to provide the necessary help and support. Work in the social- therapeutic workshop (ceramics, art, training workshop), participation in musical therapy, morning awakening and sports activities with users. You will accompany them in the centre activities such as canistherapy, morning and afternoon workshop, morning moments, reading, relaxing or music activities. Our users may visit various activities out of centre, for example cinema, theatre, exhibitions, hippotherapy, etc. Another important activity will be teamwork and also individual work with target group. You will participate in the development of the personality of people with mental disability, physical disability or combined disabilities and autism. You will participate in supporting the creative skills and social therapeutic workshop skills of our users. As a member of our team you will have a space to be creative and choose activities suitable for each user.

Your profile
We expect you to be independent, but also to have the ability to work in a team. The advantage is certainly that you will use creativity in work in the social therapeutic workshop or in music therapy and improve your language skills (willingness to learn Czech). You also need to be proactive, patient, empathic, respectful and have a good relationshi to the target group.

 

Project 5

Term project
1st September 2019– 31st August 2020

Place: Nový Jičín-Žilina

Activities
You will support and assist users using EDEN’s services. This means you will accompany them during practical activities like pottery and art workshops, cooking, baking and another everyday acitivities, such as self-care, hygiene and communication related to an active life style. In our centre you will participate in feeding of users, their education and in activating by using a various methods (positioning assistance, stimulus reliance, etc.). You will participate in the basics of positioning people with severe physical disabilities and will learn the basics of AAC (alternative and augmentative communication). You will also participate in the everyday activities of the centre, especially those focused on direct work with service users like helping immobile users to move around the centre, helping during meals or walks. You will also participate in various events organised at the centre and outside it and cooperate with workers in social services.

Your profile
As a volunteer, YOU will approach your service responsibly and honestly. For our users, it is very
important that you are patient, proactive, empathic and able to understand their needs. You also need to have healthy back and hands to work with users correctly and not be hesitant in asking. Naturally, you should also be open and willing to learn new things such as the Czech language.

Project 6

Term project
1st September 2019 – 31st August 2020

Place: Český Těšín

Activities
This placement gives volunteers the opportunity to actively participate in all the activities (handicraft, garden work, music therapy, sports activities, educational activities, cooking, etc.). In the previous years, the volunteer was involved in: cooking – preparation of meals typical for their country, sport – physical activity with the users in the gym on the playground, music – conducting music therapy, drumming, work in the garden, planting, photography etc. As a part of volunteer’s mini project, the volunteer will be able to  improve the skills in their hobby (playing guitar, photography, dance). The placement offers space for developing your own creativity. A volunteer spends part of the day on individual work with a single user, playing social games, using tools for developing fine motor skills or memory exercises. Volunteers will learn to observe the details, the small achievements. They will learn to focus on the little things that other people’s attention often escapes, but they are important to our users. In our work, even simple things require a longer time. The volunteer will be practicing their communication skills. Some users don ́t communicate verbally, they use pictures – pictograms to communicate.

Your profile
To work in our centre, it is important not to be afraid to communicate (verbally and non-verbally). Users of the centre appreciate a positive attitude to
life, the ability to be excited yourself in the things you are doing, whether it’s drawing, walking, etc. The users easily reflect your mood. Patience is also
important, not to be afraid of repetitive and simple activities. It is very important that you will be motivated to learn Czech language.

Project 7 EFFATHA
Socio-therapeutic workshop

Term project
1st September 2019– 31st August 2020

Place: Nový Jičín

Activities
The mission of EFFATHA workshops is to support adults with disabilities. The goal is acquiring and strengthening their work and social skills and habits, as well as their self-sufficiency and independence. Your main task will be to provide individual and personal support to people using EFFATHA’S services. You will support and assist them during various therapeutic workshops like: pottery, textile workshop, basketry workshop, woodworking and others. You will also accompany and assist service users during various activities and events like: cooking, gardening, trips, memory training, relaxation activities, and others. You will also participate in regular discussions and presentation for EFFATHA users on various topics (such as health, relationships, rights of citizens and others).

Your profile
As we motivate our clients to be responsible and to fulfil their duties, we expect the same from our volunteers. This means you need to be also careful and open to learn new things and the Czech language. Furthermore, for the work with our targetgroup it is very important to be empathic to understand needs of users.

 

Project 8 EFFATHA
Socio-therapeutic workshop

Term project

Place: Krnov

Activities
EFFATHA socio-therapeutic workshops focus on work with adults with mental and multiple disabilities in such a way as to allow them to gain and maintain work habits and skills. EFFATHa gives its users an opportunity to spend their time in an active and enjoyable way while learning new things, meeting new people and gaining interesting experience. In the workshops, EFFATHA service users and staff produce many interesting things such as small gift items, decorative items, ceramics, and others. Your main task will be to provide individual and personal support to people using EFFATHA’S services. You will support and assist them during various therapeutic workshops for instance: pottery, creative workshop, textile workshop, and others.
Accompanying and assisting users during various activities and events such as: cooking, gardening, trips, memory trainings, relaxation activities and others. You will also assist in preparing materials and workspace, and scheduling of the work of service users. You will cooperate with social workers. You will also have an opportunity to make your own mini project.

Your profile
You should be a positive and active person with interest in helping others. If you are creative and you like a handcraft it is a plus for you and us.

Project 9 KLUB ON LINE – NZDM STREETWORK ON LINE
Low threshold facility and street work

Term project
1st September 2019 – 31st August 2020

Place: Karviná

Activities
The activities will be divided between the KLUB ON LINE and STREETWORK. You will
participate in prevention programmes for children and youth, leisure activities (play games, drawing, tutoring and also practising reading and writing), events and trips with users, interviews with them – it would be great to start learning the Czech language as soon as possible. You will also participate in user consultancy (with the user’s consent).For work with our target group, you will have a knowledge of field work with youth on the streets of Karviná – the environments of excluded young people, Roma culture and drug issues, socially excluded localities, socio-pathological phenomena. You will improve your skills in the area of methods of conducting interviews not only for work with youth, special social games of prevention character, etc. Sometimes you can help with administration, creating promotional materials and more.

Your profile
We will appreciate the working experience with and knowledge of programmes for editing photos or videos, which we use for preparing events or skills in any sport, the arts sector etc. You should be ready for active contact with young people, especially in the afternoon (ready for everyday for something a little different). It is very important to have the ability to accept others, and to show respect, interest and sincerity not only for working relationship and you should have a willingness to learn the Czech language.

Project 10 – Community centre Mojská Community Centre

Term project
1st September 2019– 31st August 2020

Place: Český Těšín

Activities
You can give lessons of your native language and apply your own skills that can enrich the community centre’s offer of activities. You can join the project of the
modern music choir and the fusion band s well as activities of sporting and artistic character. You can help in clubs and libraries. You will learn how to work together in a team of Czech volunteers and joint activities. You can learn how to lead language lessons and develop their ability to learn in an environment of trust and small groups. You can learn in the workshops to play a musical instrument and perform with a music group and a choir. You can provide new actions by being involved in their preparation, learn how to cook some traditional Czech dishes. You can learn to present your own activities and to engage in sports
activities as well as club management. You can also learn how to work in the community centre library – for example by backing books.

Your profile
You should be open to work with the target group of teenagers and be able to apply some of your own skills. Musical and sporting talents are
welcome.

Project 11 – We are not alone to deal with it and tutorial club of Slezská diakonie

Support of families and children in difficult social situations and support of inclusive education in Krnov

Activities
We are focusing on work with families and children who are going through certain difficulties in their lives. The ‘We are not alone’ project is focused on activities which allow parents in unfavourable social condition and their children to spend their time in a purposeful way. The project aims to support interpersonal relations, the personal development of children within safe environment, develop parental care and support the prevention against further deterioration of the family’s social condition. The mission of Tutorial club of Slezská Diakonie is to support children in their preparation for schooling. The project focuses on activities supporting quality education of children and pupils with socio- economically disadvantaged and culturally different backgrounds. Activities such as puzzles, cubes, board games, storytelling, rhymes, fairy tales, drawing, colouring books, paper cut outs, ball games, rope skipping, preparation of meals, money management, communication with children, hygiene habits.

Profile

It is important to not afraid to work alone or in a collective. It is helpful if you are creative, if you like to
work with children, if you can listen to children – it is important to learn the Czech language quickly.

 

Project 12 – Low-threshold centre in Město Albrechtice
Low-threshold centre

Term project
1st September 2019 – 31st August 2020

Place: Město Albrechtice

Activities
The low-threshold centre for children and youth in the region of Město Albrechtice offers after school activities for children and youth aged 6 – 20. The service tries to achieve positive changes in the lives of children and youth, provide information, professional assistance and support in difficult life situations, as well as conditions for establishing new contacts, thus preventing the children and youth from being socially excluded. The objective of the service is to guide children and young people through the period of their adolescence, showing them alternative solutions for their situation and alternative leisure time activities, thus creating suitable conditions for their healthy development and personal growth. You will participate in the usual activities offered by the centre (for example table football, board games, conversations). Your task will be the preparation and implementation of group activities for service users. Presentation of various features of volunteer’s native country (cuisine, education system, institutions, leisure time activities, plays and games typical for the country, etc.) will also play a part. Teaching a foreign language (English or the volunteer’s native language) in an entertaining manner would be welcome. Tidying-up with service users is expected. The volunteer will prepare a mini project according to their interests.

Your profile
You should be open to work with the target group of teenagers and young adults and be pro-active, being able to apply some of your own skills.
We will greatly appreciate it if a volunteer can play some of the musical instruments. We also need the ability to communicate and for the volunteer not to be too shy to talk. You should be able to learn Czech language fast. Creativity, art talent (drawing, cutting, gluing, manufacturing), working with a PC (at least Word and Power Point) are also appropriate.

Project 13 – SAREPTA
House for seniors

Term project
1st September 2019 – 31st August 2020

Place: Hnojník

Activities
Among your most typical tasks will be the support of seniors in their frequently complicated life situations. In practise, it is your presence and time investment that is most valuable. By quality time is meant listening, reading, viewing old photo albums, playing cards and other board games, engaged in talks about subjects that have a beneficial influence on the well-being of the senior. You should bear in mind that frequently the senior does not have a supportive family, so this interaction and concern are extremely important. Reading aloud and singing accompanied by playing the instrument, are invaluable services. The seniors also like walking in the garden and in the surroundings of Komorní Lhotka. Accompanying the senior in the open air will therefore be a frequent activity. You will also cooperate with workers in social services.

Your profile
We expect from you that you will be proactive, responsible, tolerant and will have a good relationship with our target group – seniors. This means you need to be also patient, careful and open to learn new things and the Czech language. Furthermore for the work with our users it is very important to be empathic to understand their needs.

Project 14 – SILOE

and housing for the people
with memory disorders

1st September 2019– 31st August 2020

Place: Nová Ves

Activities
You will participate in individual and group activities to help and support our users.  From the very first time you need to start establishing contacts and relationships of trust. Also, you will assist during various activities – listening and individual reading, solving crossword puzzles and working with spontaneous interaction. You will accompany users during walks within the centre and assist with moving them (just help with moving, not driving the car), short-term escorts and helping with dining. You will also participate in activities such as simple exercises with seniors, board games or assist in organizing one-off events within centre (thematic cooking, art exhibition, morning warm-up with users) or out of centre (social events like visit a candy museum) and also preparation of a music programme with dance therapy.

Your profile

As a volunteer, you need to be active, independent, however you should be able to work in a team too – and to be flexible and punctual. Awareness of the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or vascular dementia (manifestation, etc.) would be helpful. You should also have some experience with work with seniors and preferably a personal conviction that you want to work with them. An empathic approach without prejudice to old and sick people is required.

Place: Bohumín

Activities
The school provides children and pupils with special education needs with an education in a kindergarten, primary school and secondary school. Activities usually vary according to the level of pupils ́ disabilities however your main tasks will be the following: you will accompany and assist immobile pupils during movements within the school premises and during trips and events organized by the school. You will assist teachers and pupils during English lessons and educational programmes adapted for pupils with special education need such as drama activities, art lessons, dressing training, walks, locomotor skills games, working with an interactive board, working on a PC, singing, listening to relaxation music, you will help pupils to play musical instruments. You will have an opportunity to work with educational tools adapted for children with limited fine motor skills. Furthermore, you will motivate our children in training for personal hygiene, dining and helping to feed pupils, if needed.

Český Těšín Kindergarden and Primary School and Secondary School

Place: Český Těšín

Activities
You will learn how to communicate with children with disabilities. You will learn about and learn to use some methods of working with them in practice (positioning, relaxation, helping with feeding, aiding pupils during performances, teaching, snoozelen, music therapy, canisterapie) and learn how to use the aids in working with pupils (tablets, light column, chimes); so you will gain experience of special education. You will be involved in music therapy (active, relaxing), playing drums and natural rhythmic musical instruments (guitar, djembe drums, rain sticks) and reading books. You will participate in performances within the school and for other organizations (about 8-10x during the year). You will participate in art therapeutic activities (to create decorations according to the season). You will also participate in projects such as “Sports and Dance to Health”. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and your country – to present the life in your country, the traditions, culture and traditional foods in various activities (in the cooking hours or on the occasion of “Volunteer Day” and our twice a year “Cafe for Parents”). You will be able to speak English to pupils during English classes and will improve your Czech language too. You will work with a teachers and assistants and become familiar with the alternative forms of teaching. You will also learn work discipline and solve situations with patience and humour.

Your profile
We expect a positive relationship with our target group – children with disabilities. You need to be open, empathetic and communicative. You also have to be responsible, physically and mentally resilient. As a volunteer you should be capable of teamwork, creative, cheerful and entertaining, friendly and not afraid to learn new things. You can (but do not have to) play a musical instrument or sing.

Project 17 – Schools in Karviná Kindergarden and Primary School and Secondary School

Activities
You will learn how to work with an excellent team, learn working with pupils with various mental disabilities and perceive their needs. You can do various activities which you like with our children – for example learn English or take photos (from our lessons or other activities). You can also introduce your country and its culture and prepare some traditional foods. You just can apply your interests in activities with pupils. You will learn what it means to get involved in school activities and school responsibilities. You will talk to pupils, listen to them, assist during conflicts among pupils, and help them to develop their social skills. You will supervise the safety of children and their behaviour, help pupils to do their homework and assignments, accompany pupils to physiotherapy sessions, prepare and participate in events organized by the school (Christmas meeting, New Year’s concert, Mother’s Day, etc.).

Your profile
Surely you need to be able work independently and also in the team. We expect from you, as a volunteer, that you are proactive, open with willingness to help
others and to learn new things (for example the Czech language). You also need to be responsible, tolerant and empathic to understand human needs.

Project 18  –  Home for people with disabilities
and social therapeutic workshops

Term project
1st September 2019 – 31st August 2020

Place: Dolni Zivotice

Activities
You will assist the users during common activities of everyday life. This includes training and educational activities (e.g. training of memory, development of already gained knowledge and skills, using of practical skills in everyday life). You will participate and assist the users during work activities – in pottery, art and textile workshop, gardening. The activities focus on the development of motor activity, coordination of the movements, development of aesthetic perception and expression and communication with the external environment. You will assist the users during experiential therapies such as relaxing activities. Techniques such as using different balls, positioning, singing and playing instruments, as well as others are used. Individual motoric activation, exercises, stretching, making the users familiar with assistive devices, individual meetings with the users in order to plan user ́s service will be part of your work. To develop the individual skills, the facilities such as shops, public transport, cultural and sport centres, restaurants, excursions are used. Other activities such as walks and trips with the users and participation in different events are organised.

 

Your profile
The volunteer should have a little knowledge of mental disability . We expect from you, as a volunteer, that you are

Si, claro, pero es más difícil, aunque no imposible!. ¿Cómo lo haces?

Debes buscar por país y/o tipo de actividad. Todas las organizaciones salen catalogadas según los siguientes criterios:

  • Tipo de acreditación SVE (envío, acogida o coordinadora) y fecha en la que expira esa acreditación
  • Lugar donde está la organización
  • Temas de la organización (es decir, sobre qué va/n su/s proyecto/s)
  • Temas de inclusión (especifica si alguna categoría con menores oportunidades es prioridad a la hora de elegir voluntarios/as)
  • Número de acreditación SVE

En los datos sobre el proyecto se incluye:

  • Breve descripción sobre el proyecto y la organización de acogida
  • Descripción de las labores del voluntario
  • Definición del tipo de voluntario que se busca
  • Formas de contacto con la organización

Tienes que seguir las instrucciones que se te dan en cada vacante. Tienes que presentar tu solicitud en inglés o en el idioma oficial del país al que estás aplicando.

El CES es un servicio de voluntariado a tiempo completo que le ofrece al voluntario alojamiento, manutención, seguro, dinero mensual de bolsillo, curso de idiomas y el apoyo de un tutor. Todo esto se les da a los voluntarios para que tenga tiempo y un espacio de trabajo en la organización de acogida, integrándose así en la comunidad local y aprendiendo el lenguaje y la cultura del país. Aprovecharse de este apoyo para encontrar un trabajo remunerado va en contra de las normas y la filosofía del CES.

El CES (antes conocido como SVE) es parte del programa Cuerpo Europeo de Solidaridad, coordinado por la Comisión Europea. Supone un instrumento de apoyo económico que promueve la educación no-formal, el aprendizaje intercultural, la solidaridad y la movilidad internacional de jóvenes.

Para garantizar una aplicación adecuada y transparente de los proyectos del SVE, a los promotores se les pide que formalicen la distribución de tareas, y las responsabilidades a través de un acuerdo definido como un Acuerdo de Actividades (AA) del SVE. Este Acuerdo también establece las tareas, horas de trabajo y otros aspectos prácticos, así como los objetivos de aprendizaje de los voluntarios.
Un Acuerdo de Actividad del SVE debe contener la firma original de los representantes legales de la Organización de Coordinación, el acogida y envío, y la firma de voluntario que participa en la Actividad del SVE.

Todos los signatarios deben recibir una copia del Acuerdo; el Acuerdo es vinculante para todos ellos. En caso de duda o controversia, los criterios y normas del SVE, según lo estipulado en la Guía del Programa, prevalecerán sobre el Acuerdo de Actividades. El Programa Erasmus Plus define los requisitos mínimos que deben ser incluidos en el Acuerdo de Actividades, dejando a los promotores y voluntarios la elección del formato y el nivel de detalle en el documento. Estos requisitos mínimos y las disposiciones relativas a la presentación y modificación del Acuerdo se describen en el formulario de solicitud.

Los voluntarios son seleccionados independientemente de su origen étnico, religión, orientación sexual, opinión política, etc. No debe haber ninguna titulación previa necesaria, ni un nivel de educación especifico, experiencia laboral o conocimientos lingüísticos especiales. Puede trazarse un perfil más específico del voluntario, si esto se justifica por la naturaleza de las tareas del Servicio o el contexto del proyecto. Sin embargo, incluso en estos casos se descarta la selección basada en las calificaciones académicas o profesionales.

¿Quiénes son los jóvenes con menos oportunidades?

Los jóvenes con menos oportunidades:
Una prioridad importante de la Unión Europea es permitir el acceso a todos los jóvenes, incluidos aquellos que tienen menos oportunidades. Los jóvenes con menos oportunidades se encuentran en desventaja en comparación con sus pares, ya que se enfrentan a situaciones e obstáculos, que se describen en la siguiente lista. En ciertos contextos, estas situaciones e obstáculos impiden a los jóvenes tener acceso efectivo a la educación formal y no formal, a la movilidad transnacional y a la integración en la sociedad en su conjunto.

Obstáculos sociales: jóvenes que sufren discriminación por motivos de género, etnia, religión, orientación sexual, discapacidad o minusvalía, etc, los jóvenes con falta de habilidades sociales o comportamientos sexuales de riesgo o comportamiento anti-social; los jóvenes ex presos, ex drogadictos o ex alcohólicos, los padres/madres jóvenes solteras, los huérfanos y jóvenes de familias disfuncionales.

Obstáculos económicos: jóvenes con un bajo nivel de vida, bajos ingresos, la dependencia en el sistema de seguridad social, en una situación de desempleo de larga duración o pobreza; los jóvenes sin hogar, con deuda o problemas financieros.

Discapacidad: jóvenes con discapacidad mental (intelectual, cognitivo, aprendizaje), discapacidades físicas, sensoriales o de otro tipo.

Dificultades educativas: jóvenes con dificultades de aprendizaje, los jóvenes que abandonan la escuela, las personas poco cualificadas, los jóvenes con bajo rendimiento escolar.

Las diferencias culturales: jóvenes inmigrantes o refugiados o descendientes de familias inmigrantes o refugiados, los jóvenes que pertenecen a una minoría nacional o étnica.

Los problemas de salud: los jóvenes con problemas de salud crónicos, enfermedades graves o trastornos psiquiátricos, los jóvenes con problemas de salud mental.

Obstáculos geográficos: jóvenes de zonas remotas o rurales, los jóvenes que viven en pequeñas islas o regiones periféricas; jóvenes con problemas urbanos, las zonas más jóvenes con nivel limitado de servicios (transporte público limitado, las malas condiciones, pueblos abandonados).

Los grupos y las organizaciones juveniles deben tomar las medidas adecuadas para evitar la exclusión de grupos específicos.

El programa Erasmus Plus tiene como objetivo ser una herramienta para el fortalecimiento de la integración social, la promoción de la ciudadanía activa y la empleabilidad de los jóvenes con menos oportunidades y, al mismo tiempo, contribuir, en general, a la cohesión social.

Claro, no hacemos diferencias si vives en cualquier sitio de España, sólo te pedimos motivación y ganas de aprender. Aunque estés lejos de Madrid, podemos solventarlo con la gran ayuda de la tecnología. ¡Bienvenid@!

El SVE es una experiencia de voluntariado internacional, por lo que a la hora de acceder a un proyecto, se tendrá en cuenta tu implicación social así como tus anteriores experiencias de voluntariado.

Para cubrir los gastos de viaje se prevé una subvención por banda de distancia. La banda más frecuente es de 500 a 2.000 km, lo que prevé una ayuda de 175 euros. El voluntario comprará directamente el billete, bajo la supervisión y apoyo de la organización de acogida y ésta abonará esta cantidad al voluntario al inicio del proyecto de SVE.

El SVE-CES está abierto a jóvenes de entre 18 y 30 años. Esto significa que los voluntarios deben tener entre 18 y 30 años al inicio de su actividad de voluntariado.

No,  sólo se puede realizar un único proyecto de SVE o CES. La única posibilidad que tiene alguien de hacer 2 proyectos es haber hecho antes uno de corta duración (hasta 2 meses como máximo) y luego, hacer otro de mayor duración. Pero el caso contrario no es posible.
Excepcionalmente, si has realizado un voluntariado de corta duración, es posible realizar uno de larga hasta un máximo en total de 12 meses entre ambas experiencias.

En la selección de voluntarios no se tienen en cuenta las habilidades lingüísticas del voluntario, a no ser que se necesite un conocimiento básico para una tarea muy específica y especialmente justificada. Durante tu voluntariado tendrás un curso de idiomas online incluído sin coste para tí.

Los participantes en el programa Erasmus+, cuya estancia en el extranjero supere los 2 meses, recibirán una formación lingüística online obligatoria impartida a través de una plataforma creada por la Comisión Europea. Se trata de una Plataforma online de formación (OLS Online Linguistic Support ) para las siguientes lenguas: inglés, alemán, francés, italiano, español y neerlandés. Todos los voluntarios seleccionados (excepto nativos en la lengua de destino), antes de firmar su Acuerdo de Actividades, deberán realizar una prueba de nivel online, cuyos resultados se comunicarán al voluntario y a la institución, lo que permitirá a ésta conocer el número de beneficiarios potenciales del curso online.

  • Al firmar el Acuerdo de Actividades, los participantes seleccionados para el curso se comprometen a su realización.
  • Al finalizar su período de movilidad, todos los voluntarios deberán realizar una segunda prueba de nivel online para comprobar el aprendizaje del idioma derivado de su experiencia de SVE.

Lo que sí te haremos antes que salgas es la formación a la salida del servicio voluntario europeo:

Sí, además de dos días de descanso semanales, el voluntario tiene derecho a dos meses de vacaciones por cada mes de proyecto. Por ejemplo, si el proyecto dura 5 meses, le corresponden 10 días de vacaciones. El periodo de vacaciones se acordará con la organización de acogida.

Sí, todos los voluntarios están cubiertos por un seguro privado CIGNA. Se trata de un plan de seguros, especialmente creado para ellos, que cubre toda su actividad de forma automática y gratuita. Es responsabilidad de la organización de envío (SO) o de la organización coordinadora (CO) realizar los trámites necesarios para que el voluntario quede correctamente asegurado. En cualquier caso, recomendamos que los voluntarios soliciten además la Tarjeta Sanitaria Europea.

Sí, aunque para cancelar un proyecto habría de producirse una causa de peso que lo justifique. Acabar anticipadamente el servicio es siempre la última opción, habiendo intentando resolver la situación por todos los cauces posibles. Ten en cuenta que este tipo de decisión debe ser consensuada conjuntamente con tu organización de envío (SO), de acogida (HO), coordinadora (CO) y la Agencia Nacional o Agencia Ejecutiva responsable para el proyecto.

No, Un SVE-CES no es un voluntariado ocasional, sino que es una actividad formal y estructurada a tiempo completo, por lo que es casi imposible compatibilizarlo con un trabajo.

Durante el tiempo que se permanezca en el extranjero NO se puede cobrar prestaciones por desempleo. Debes comunicar en tu oficina de empleo la fecha y motio del traslado para que procedan a suspender el pago de la prestación. Cuando regreses a España se puede reanudar la prestación siempre que:
− No se haya permanecido más de 12 meses en el extranjero.
− Se inscriba como demandante de empleo y solicite la reanudación de la prestación en los 15 DÍAS HÁBILES siguientes al retorno.

− Justifique la causa del traslado al extranjero
No obstante, en caso de duda, por favor contactad con la técnico del proyecto para que pueda daros la respuesta oportuna a vuestro caso concreto.

Las organizaciones de acogida y coordinación tienen la responsabilidad de ayudarnos a obtener los visados necesarios. Participar en el SVE no nos exime de seguir la normativa de visados del país. Es importante saber que existen grandes diferencias entre las normativas de los distintos países. El documento “General Recommendations for Visa/Residence Permit Applications” (recomendaciones generales para las solicitudes de permisos de residencia/visados) contiene recomendaciones de utilidad para completar los trámites de estos permisos/visados. En casos concretos o en los que surjan dificultades la Agencia Ejecutiva o las Agencias Nacionales (oficinas de ayuda al voluntario) pueden redactar una carta y una nota aclaratoria que respalde nuestra solicitud de visado. Pedir a la organización de envío o de coordinación que se ponga en contacto con estos servicios en caso de necesitar ayuda para obtener el visado.

Sí, además la asociación de acogida nos informará de ello. Recuerda que tu intercambio de trabajo es para ayudar o apoyar un proyecto beneficioso para personas, organizaciones o incluso para el medio ambiente. Esta motivación junto con el trabajo en equipo con tus compañeros te ayudará a trabajar con energía y ganas. Si tienes algún problema, lo mejor es consultarlo con el tutor/a del SVE-CES para encontrar una solución satisfactoria para todos.
