Alejandro y yo decidimos embarcarnos en la aventura Yes Europa un poco a ciegas.
Al ver las diferentes ofertas de becas sin duda Rumanía era de las que más nos convencía, tanto por el país como por el objetivo del proyecto y ahora podemos decir que no nos arrepentimos.
El viaje hasta allí fue un poco duro porque veníamos desde España pero una vez allí todo fue sobre ruedas. En un primer lugar la localización y el alojamiento eran increíbles, pasar esos 10 días en mitad de la playa del Mar Negro es una maravilla.
Lo único que puedo señalar es que… ¡malditos insectos! jajaja. Por otro lado desde que llegamos notamos un gran compañerismo con los miembros de los 4 países, tanto participantes, traductores, organizadores y facilitadores. Las actividades que realizábamos , aunque no contaran con el presupuesto esperado hicieron que se produjera el acercamiento y la comprensión necesaria para poder disfrutar juntos, sin duda el madrugar tanto mereció la pena.
Las diferencias culturales con Rumanía y Moldavia acabaron siendo bastante cómicas y la forma de superar los obstáculos con los que ellos vivían son admirables. A todos alguna que otra vez se nos saltaron las lágrimas y como es normal, todos teníamos mayor afinidad con ciertas personas con las que conectamos de una forma bastante especial y que no olvidaremos.
Otro recuerdo que nos encanta son las tardes jugando al volleyplaya, pienso que una de las mejores formas de disfrutar es con los deportes en equipo. He de confesar que la competición entre españoles y portugueses estaba bastante igualada.
Por las noches solíamos hacer veladas en las que no faltaban traductores para contarnos los unos a los otros nuestra historia, nuestros sueños, nuestras dificultades y lo genial que era poder compartir todo aquello juntos a orillas del mar negro.
Como anécdota estaban los challenges a realizar si uno llegaba tarde a las actividades, la pérdida de dignidad y vergüenza era obligada. ¿conocéis el reto de buscar las zanahorias?
Sin duda volveríamos a repetir la experiencia Yes Europa y por supuesto lo haremos. Nos vemos a la próxima!!

Alejandro and I decided to sign onto the Yes Europe adventure a bit blindly.
Seeing the different scholarship offers, without a doubt, Romania was one of the most convincing, both for the country and for the purpose of the project and now we can say that we do not regret it.
The trip there was a little hard because we were coming from Spain but once there everything was on wheels. In the first place the location and accommodation were incredible, spending those 10 days in the middle of the Black Sea beach is wonderful. All I can point out is that… damn insects! Hahaha.
On the other hand, since we arrived we noticed a great partnership with the members of the 4 countries, counting participants, translators, organizers and facilitators. The activities we carried out, although they did not have the expected budget made the approach and understanding necessary to enjoy together, without doubt, getting up early was worth it. The cultural differences with Romania and Moldova ended up being quite comical and the way to overcome the obstacles they lived with is admirable.
To all the tears we skipped again and as usual, we all had greater affinity with certain people with whom we connect in a very special way and who we will not forget.
Another memory that we love are the afternoons playing volleyball, I think one of the best ways to enjoy is with team sports. I must confess that the competition between Spanish and Portuguese people was fairly even.
At night we used to make evenings where translators were never missing to tell each other our history, our dreams, our difficulties and how great it was to be able to share all that together on the shores of the Black Sea.As an anecdote were the challenges to be made if one was late for activities, the loss of dignity and shame was forced. Do you know the challenge of looking for carrots?
We would definitely repeat the Yes Europa experience and of course we will. See you next!!
