- Sinnbergsschule
From September 2017 till July 2018 (10 months)
The Sinnberg Volksschule is a public elementary school for around 330 children. A whole series of the offers should give to the children the opportunity to develop their personality. The special offers in music, sport, reading, theatre, bicycle, experiencing nature and social interaction are going to shape their day at school. In the all-day field also in the afternoon the children are taken care of and receive diverse free- time offers.
The EVS volunteers support the free time activities with the children, like sports, art, reading or language projects.
- Youth Centre
From August 2017 till July 2018 (12 months)
The Yout Centre is open from Monday to Friday in the afternoon. There are many possibilities for children and youth (games, sport, arts, music) as well as special events (concerts, games week, theatre week, circus project, holiday activities, ). From May till September there is a Active Playground where the children and youth are spending free time (outdoor activities).
The task of the EVS volunteer is to support the activities. It is also possible to propose own projects.
Both of the EVS volunteers live together in a flat (separate rooms) in Bad Kissingen.

How to apply
Building Bridges users and/or long term unemployed (proved by scanned document) will have preference to this volunteer service.
We will study carefully all application and selected candidates will be invite for Skype interview. The selection of volunteers will take place in the coming weeks.
For the selection of the volunteers we will need:
– Europass CV with picture (made in the last month) with skype name included
– Motivational letter, writing that your sending organisation will be “Building Bridges”. We ask all candidates to send a specific letter of motivation – why they want to volunteer with us rather than just a general EVS one. The volunteer is chosen according to his/her motivation and interest to the project and to the activities. It will be paid special attention to cover letters.
