The Arts Centre aims to create a new situation: an environment in which artists and students from different backgrounds and abilities can work and create together and in which life long learning is an opportunity for everyone. It is an open access Arts and Life Long Learning initiative founded in 1999. It delivers visual art and theatre courses and is home of a theatre company.
This Arts Centre combine artists with learning disabilities and other disadvantages with professional arts practitioners. The centre has developed interactive partnerships with comparable projects in many countries in Europe, Japan and Australia. Strongly engaged in the arts community both locally and internationally, it challenges the “Insider/Outsider Arts” debate.

Selected volunteers will be interviewed via Skype, in the last week in January.
How to apply
We will study carefully all application and selected candidates will be invite for Skype interview. The selection of volunteers will take place in the coming weeks.
For the selection of the volunteers we will need:
– Europass CV with picture (made in the last month) with skype name included
– Motivational letter, writing that your sending organisation will be “Building Bridges”. We ask all candidates to send a specific letter of motivation – why they want to volunteer with us rather than just a general EVS one. The volunteer is chosen according to his/her motivation and interest to the project and to the activities. It will be paid special attention to cover letters.
– Fill in the application form here. Remember to write that your sending institution is “Asociación Building Bridges”.
